Welcome to the Southern Ontario Model Airshow website, also known as SOMA. SOMA is the annual Middle Zone fun-fly. This year SOMA takes place on Friday August19th, Saturday, August 20th and Sunday, August 21st, 2011 at the Stoney Creek Airfield, 684 Mud Street East.
SOMA is proudly presented this year by the Niagara Region Model Flying Club, EAA Chapter 65, (Our Host) and the Burlington R/C Modellers.
Flying is unlimted. Electrics, scale, funfly, pattern, jets, helicopters, combat, giant scale, and, yes, even lawnmowers.
Only $5 admission fee per person. Come on out and enjoy the fun!!! Food, prizes, commaraderie, and, of course, FLYING.
The Southern Ontario Model Airshow is gladly donating 100% of this years proceeds to McMaster Children's Hospital.
